The International Friendship Club (IFC) began in September 2002 with the following aims:
The IFC in San Luis Potosí is an organization in which:
The activities we do support charitable organizations within the local community and include AMANC, Casa Hogar de San Juan, Estancia Santa Marta para el perro Abandonado, Estancia Comedor Sagrada Familia de Nazareth, as well as local and rural communities in SLP. Through donations and fundraising, the IFC in SLP has successfully sponsored projects in these local organizations.
Activities
- To assist social welfare programs or organizations.
- To help ex-patriate and Mexican newcomers assimilate into SLP.
- To provide social activities and foster a feeling of fellowship among IFC members.
- To further interest in and experience the culture and diversity of Mexico.
The IFC in San Luis Potosí is an organization in which:
- Members work on a volunteer basis.
- Members donate their time, talents and strengths and contribute what they can towards our common goal.
- The Board works as a team and meets once a month or as needed.
- The Board wants the IFC to be fun, beneficial and useful for its members.

- Monthly Evening Cocktails - once a month
- Volunteering - Volunteer to help out with special projects or needs within the IFC or with one of the charity groups we support

- Arts & Crafts Group
- Cooking Club
- Groups and activities get added regularly as per wants and needs.
